Who is Monarch Professional Services
Owner / Consultant
I started Monarch Professional Services in February 2015 in order to be able to work from home, while still being able to take care of my family. I saw a need in the direct sales / multi-level marketing area of business to help people understand what they needed to do on a monthly or quarterly basis to keep themselves prepared for the "dreaded" tax season. My passion is to help women (and men) know their numbers and teach them how to use that information to continue to grow their businesses. I believe knowledge is power and every business owner should feel empowered with their financials and not scare their tax accountant on April 15th. As for my background, I have my B.S. in Accounting from St. Catherine's University. After graduating, I made the leap into my first tax season in January 2006 at a small CPA firm in Bloomington, MN, and worked there for 3 years. After four busy seasons under my belt, I made the decision to work for a private company as a revenue accountant for 4 years. During my time as a revenue accountant, I simultaneously ran a side-business with a multi-level marketing company, which I eventually made my full-time career, working from home. After the company I was working for made the decision to end their operations, I made the decision to help other solo-entrepreneurs, like myself, with their bookkeeping and to teach others how to stay on the IRS's good-side by creating Monarch Professional Services.

Outsourcing to Kat has simplified our business admin, freeing up time for us to pursue growth. She is communicative and helpful, even giving us suggestions as to other solutions that might help us grow. We always have access to our financial information, and help with reporting and analysis is always only an email away.

I started a new business this past year and was in desperate need of a bookkeeper to help me organize the financial end of my business.
